1. How this notice applies
The main Privacy Policy describes Pakeup's current product-wide practices. The clauses below add jurisdiction-specific information. A local clause prevails only to the extent required by applicable law.
2. European Economic Area and Switzerland
- Controller: Hengtong Li (李恒通).
- Legal bases are contract performance for core alarm and mission features, consent for camera access, legitimate interests in security and support, and legal obligation. You may withdraw camera consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Where applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint to your supervisory authority.
- International transfers require an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful mechanism. No solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects.
- If an EU representative becomes legally required, contact details will be published before distribution in the European Union.
3. United Kingdom
- Controller: Hengtong Li (李恒通).
- UK GDPR rights and legal bases broadly mirror the EEA section. International transfers will use UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another valid mechanism.
- You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office, without limiting any other remedy.
4. United States
For US state privacy laws that apply to the operator, the categories processed are identifiers and internet data from legal-site logs; and app data such as alarm settings, mission records, and sticker images stored locally on your device. Sources, purposes, and recipients are described in the Privacy Policy.
- Pakeup does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Applicable rights may include know/access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out, and appeal. Identity verification and statutory exceptions may apply.
- California requests may be made at hengtong.li@foxmail.com. There is no discrimination for exercising rights.
5. Canada
- The operator is accountable for personal information under applicable federal and provincial law.
- Pakeup limits collection to identified purposes, seeks meaningful consent for optional camera features, applies safeguards, and retains information only as needed.
- You may request access and correction or challenge compliance. Complaints may be taken to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the competent provincial regulator.
- Cross-border processing by Apple or Vercel may make information subject to foreign law.
6. Australia
- Where the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles apply, this policy explains collection, use, disclosure, access, correction, complaints, and likely overseas processing.

7. New Zealand
- The operator follows the Privacy Act 2020 principles for purpose limitation, notice, security, access, correction, retention, accuracy, use, disclosure, and overseas disclosure where applicable.

8. Hong Kong and Taiwan
Hong Kong
Pakeup follows the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance data-protection principles on purpose and notice, accuracy and retention, use limitation, security, openness, and access or correction. Direct marketing is not conducted. Requests may be sent to hengtong.li@foxmail.com, and complaints may be made to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
Taiwan
This notice identifies the collector, purposes, categories, period, territories, recipients and methods of use, rights, and effects of not providing optional data as required by Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act. You may request inquiry, review, a copy, supplementation or correction, cessation of collection/processing/use, and deletion, subject to law. Contact hengtong.li@foxmail.com.
9. Japan
- Handling business operator: Hengtong Li (李恒通). The purposes and data categories are stated in the Privacy Policy and this notice.
- Where the Act on the Protection of Personal Information applies, you may request notification of purpose, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, erasure, or cessation of third-party provision as provided by law.
- Consent and information about foreign systems or recipients will be provided where required for overseas provision. Requests and complaints: hengtong.li@foxmail.com.
10. South Korea
- Personal information controller: Hengtong Li (李恒通).
- The Korean policy states purposes, items, retention, destruction, third-party provision, processors, rights procedures, security measures, automatic collection mechanisms, and complaint channels as applicable under PIPA.
- For overseas transfers, the consent or notice identifies each recipient, country, contact, purpose, items, timing and method, and retention period.
- A child under 14 requires consent from a legal representative. Users may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension and may contact the Personal Information Protection Commission or other statutory dispute channels.
- The operator maintains a breach process capable of meeting applicable Korean notification and reporting deadlines.
