Pakeup is a camera-alarm app that wakes you with a pet photo mission. For App Store, purchase, or in-app questions, use the contact options below.

When you write in, include your iOS version, Pakeup version, and a short description of the issue. Do not send photos of identity documents or other unnecessary personal data unless we ask for proportionate verification.

We aim to reply to good-faith support requests, but no fixed response time is guaranteed.

2. Alarms and AlarmKit

  • Pakeup schedules system alarms through Apple AlarmKit so the alarm fires even if the app is not running.
  • If an alarm did not fire, check: alarm permission is granted in iOS settings, the alarm is switched on, the device is not powered off, and the app has not been force-quit by you or the system.
  • AlarmKit alarms are managed by iOS. Pakeup cannot guarantee alarms will sound when the device is powered off or the system has terminated the app.

3. Camera and pet recognition

  • Pakeup uses the camera only during an alarm mission to capture a pet photo.
  • If camera permission was denied, go to iOS Settings → scroll to Pakeup → enable Camera. Denying camera permission does not block alarm scheduling, but the photo mission cannot be completed.
  • Pet recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple Vision framework for cats and dogs. Recognition may fail in low light, when the pet is partially hidden, at unusual angles, or when no pet is in the frame.

4. Pakeup Pro and purchases

  • Pakeup Pro is a one-time lifetime App Store purchase processed by Apple. No subscription, no renewal.
  • To restore on a new device, open Pakeup Settings and tap Restore Purchases, or use the restore option on the upgrade screen.
  • Refunds and billing follow Apple App Store rules. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com for refund requests.

5. Photos, data, and deletion

  • Pakeup does not request photo library read permission and cannot browse your Photos app.
  • Stickers and alarm records are stored in the app's local SwiftData database on your device. Pakeup does not use iCloud, a developer backend, or cloud sync.
  • To delete records, use the in-app controls in Settings or the Calendar page. Uninstalling Pakeup removes all local data.
